Overview

We are looking for experienced Qur'an & Arabic teachers to join Al Haramain Institute.

As a teacher for Al Haramain Institute & Qur’an Schools you will be reporting to the Child Education Manager. All teachers will be expected to teach Tajweed, Hifdh and Qira’ah according to our unique syllabus developed specifically for children by Al Haramain Institute. Full training, certification of authorisation and ongoing support will be provided by the Al Haramain Institute.

Job Role

Working from the heart of East/West London, your duties as teacher will include:

  • Working with our curriculum coordinator
  • Attend teacher training sessions by Al Haramain Institute
  • Delivering all classes assigned as per the schedule
  • Deliver all subjects to children in fun and interesting methods
  • Conducting exams
  • Marking coursework and exam papers
  • Regular meetings with parents
  • Develop lesson plans and materials for teaching
  • Support administrative staff and supervisors

Skills Required

  • High level of fluency in Tajweed ul Qur’an
  • Fluency in Arabic language and Hifdh is preferable
  • Extensive teaching experience is desirable
  • Strong administrative and IT skills with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Intelligent, articulate and hands on
  • Excellent organisational skills and an ability to work on their own initiative
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritise efficiently

Overview

As a Branch Supervisor, you will be reporting to the Operations Manager. All Branch Supervisors will be expected to manage the daily operations of the Child Educational programme whilst managing the assistants and teachers.

Job Role

Working from the heart of East/West London, your duties as teacher will include:

  • Completing tasks delegated by the Operations Manager pertaining to their Branch
  • First point of contact for parents
  • Dealing with parent quires and questions at the Branch
  • Hold responsibility of First Aid Officer
  • General child supervision and behavioural management
  • Management of Branch supplies including administrative and educational
  • Dealing with Branch maintenance issues
  • Opening and closing the Branch
  • Dealing with Branch staff queries
  • Ensuring the safety of all students attending the Branch
  • Ensuring all policies are adhered to
  • Photocopying and filing records
  • Complete weekly reports related to the running of the Branch
  • Brief staff regarding announcements, updates, important information etc

Skills Required

  • Experience working with children (desirable)

As an assistant at the Al Haramain Institute, you will be involved in many different aspects ranging from administration to assisting teachers in classes as and when required. All assistants will be expected to help complete tasks to do with the daily operations of the Child Educational programme.

  • Ensuring the safety of all students attending the Branch
  • Ensuring all policies are adhered to

  • Completing weekly reports related to the running of the Branch
  • other ad hoc tasks when required
  • Setting up and tidying Qur’an School classrooms
  • Accompanying children throughout the Qur’an School duration
  • Working with our curriculum coordinator
  • Assist in teaching all subjects as and when required
  • Supervising break times
  • Conducting exams
  • Student registration

Skills Required
